Protecting your personal data is very important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, DSG, TKG 2021). Below you can find out what data we collect on this website, for what purpose and what rights you have.
If you have any questions about data protection on our website, you can contact us using the details above. We will deal with your request as quickly as possible.
Every time the website is accessed, the server automatically records technical data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system). This data is needed to display the website correctly and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you send us a request via the contact form, your details (last name, first name, email address, phone, message) are stored to process the request and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once the request has been dealt with, unless there are statutory retention obligations.
If you contact us via WhatsApp or by phone, we process your data (name, phone number, message) solely to handle your request, for example a reservation or an order. Your data is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties without your consent.
WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). More information: whatsapp.com/legal
On the contact page you can book a table via the Quandoo widget (Quandoo GmbH, Germany). The widget only loads after you click “Open online booking”. Only then does your browser connect to the Quandoo servers (Amazon Web Services, EU) and, for the jQuery library used by the widget, to the Google servers (ajax.googleapis.com), transmitting your IP address. The data entered in the booking form is processed by Quandoo to carry out the reservation.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) given by clicking, or the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for the reservation.
To show our location we use Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map only loads after you click “Show map”. Only then is your IP address transmitted to Google; Google may also transfer data to the USA.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The “Directions” links open Google Maps in a new window. More information: policies.google.com/privacy
The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when pages are displayed.
On the home page we show public reviews from our Google profile. The texts are delivered from our own server, without any connection to Google when the page loads. The “Write a review” button opens Google in a new window.
This website uses technically necessary cookies, for example for the selected language and to store your choice in the cookie banner (“cmplz_” cookies). We do not use marketing cookies.
On your first visit we ask for your consent through a banner. External services (Google Maps, Quandoo) only load with your consent or after you open them with a click. Only from that moment can their providers set their own cookies.
Visitor statistics: we count visits with the WP Statistics plugin, which runs on our own server and uses no cookies. IP addresses are anonymised and hashed, so we cannot identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings or delete cookies in your browser settings.
On this website you will find simple links to our Facebook and Instagram pages (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). We do not use social plugins. Data is only transmitted to Meta if you click such a link and visit the platform.
